Repetitive Injuries Study 2012 at Columbus Online OSHA Safety Training Office

At the home office of Online OSHA Safety Training, there is a big interest in the postures of all the team associates. Bob Malhotra, the President of the company, was doing his routine morning appreciation walk through the halls of the office here in Columbus, Ohio, and he could not help but notice the postures of most of the trainers. “I used to sneak up behind them and tap them on the shoulder and whisper “sit up” but that was getting to be too parental and not very effective.” Bob went on to say that in his 20 years of educating workers and volunteers on the importance of just sitting up as straight as possible while at work or driving, anything relating to ergonomics and safety, he has not seen such a willful disregard for the spine as of today.

Ergonomic Meetings

What Bob did was to hold a safety meeting each Monday morning and detailed the importance of a good posture. The benefits are compelling and not only are related to office work but also almost every construction and general industry sector in the United States. the OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training course is great for learning how to be upright and safe while working in the office.

Ergonomic Studies Should Be Done on All Work Stations to Reduce Repetitive Injuries
