Online OSHA Safety Training Team Arrives Home Safely From Mississippi Delta Flood Region

The team is back! The trip to Mississippi and Louisiana was both necessary and beneficial for not only the flooded by the Mississippi River people, but for the entire Online OSHA Safety Training team as well! With all that is happening across the world, we are happy to report that we feel we made a huge difference, in at least one area of this weathered American location. That location is Mississippi and her people are so tattered and bruised we could hardly spend one hour not sharing in their distress, with our own tears.

Strength and Courage in OSHA Training

As safety training educators, and what we would like to think of ourselves as, professionals, the human side of us all could not be kept from view. It became so bad at times that we had to retreat back to our hotel room in Biloxi just to gather some sense of decorum and composure. As a team, we knew we needed to set an example for the proud Southern people that at the very least attempted to mimic their undying strength and dexterity.

All Deserving Flood Assistance and OSHA 30 and 10 Hour Experience

We wanted so badly to assist and nurture all of the people that we came across on our trip to the Mississippi Delta but with time running out and resources stretched to the brink of collapse, we had to service the ones that needed our help the most. The strength of the Mississippian people is an awesome spectacle to behold and we often wondered just how we would respond if the same flooding, would happen here at home in Ohio? We shudder to think about that nightmarish scenario, but we believe, that we Ohioans would demonstrate a mirror image, of what the Mississippian people portray, in times of disasters.

Online OSHA Safety Training Disaster Team Brings Hazwoper 40 Hour Training Experience to Flooded Louisiana Region

As the midday sun crackles down on the Mississippi Flood volunteers and workers, the Online OSHA Safety Training Disaster Team is there right along with those brave and noble Americans, sweating and praying that the “Old Man” will give up and recede. What we are referring to is the team that OOST has sent up and down the Mighty Mississippi as soon as the first sign of flooding hit the Missouri outer banks. These safety training professionals are busy doing what they can to assist the thousands of people removed by the rising waters of the Mississippi, Missouri and now the Mississippi Delta region.

Brave Missouri Volunteers

The warnings came bright and early as the Missouri crested her mighty banks and caused the evacuation of thousands on the first day of flooding. OOST was there with Hazwoper Personal Protective Equipment for themselves and the hundreds of Missouri Volunteers battling back the muddy waters and filling sandbags as well.

Hurricane Katrina Then BP Gulf Oil Spill Now Mississippi River Flooding Troubles

The rising waters are making life virtually impossible to bare for thousands of residents, especially in the already decimated areas of the Mississippi Delta and Louisiana locations, hit hard by Hurricane Katrina then the BP Gulf Oil Spill. Online OSHA Safety Training will be there till the very end and then will start preparing for the next natural disaster. See a pattern here?

Attention! Online OSHA Safety Training Site for 2011 On-Site Training Programs

Some of the best methods for learning how to avoid serious injury on a construction site start right in your head. 90% or more of safety is common sense and this is definitely not intended to belittle or scold any worker who has previously been involved in an accident as we at Online OSHA Safety Training take even the minor accidents very seriously. Commonsense and safety go hand in hand especially on a construction site where everything is a potential life-threatening accident waiting to happen. Every piece of machinery must be given the utmost respect in both usage and function as well.

Onsite OSHA Safety Training

A recent safety professional’s health study notated that 4/5serious worksite injuries were the result of workers not using common sense while on the construction or industrial site. That translates into billions of dollars worth of Worker’s Compensation claims nationwide as well as billions of dollars of lost-revenue since the injured workers normally cannot be back on the construction site for an undetermined amount of time.

OSHA Compliance Training

Commonsense while on the job, regardless of the industrial sector or construction sector that the job entails, is a major safety issue and something that needs to be addressed for the entire crew. How can you the safety and health advisor make sure that every worker on the job site uses their head and uses common sense with every action no matter how trivial? Online OSHA Safety Training offers a variety of OSHA compliance training as well as 8 and 40 hour Hazwoper Safety Training Courses. As safety is everyone’s goal common sense on the job is an irreplaceable factor and one that every worker on site needs to be deeply entrenched and knowledgeable of at all times.

Safety Scores Big in Dollars and Sense

In order to get a better sense of what needs to be mandatory on a construction or industrial site regardless of the state it is good to look at a brief list of commonsense smarts. This safety smarts list was compiled by safety and health experts at onlineOSHAsafetytraining.com and is an invaluable tool for the health and welfare of every worker on site. This list is not all-inclusive and can be added to as long as the topic is as important as common sense when working on a construction/industrial work site. The sky is the limit as safety is everyone’s concern and safety never takes a minute off! Either should you when it comes to using common sense and commonsense smarts.

• Always Wear the Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Never over Exert Yourself and Always, ask for Assistance with Heavier Tasks

• Do not Overreach or Extend Yourself while on Ladders even Stepladders since there is a Huge Risk of you Losing your Balance and Resulting in an Injury or even a Fatality to Yourself or the Co-Workers who you Fall upon

• Always use the Proper Tool for the Job

• 100% Concentrate on your Task at Hand Safety and Health Training Specialist refer to this as Task Demands

• Be on constant watch and look out for unsafe acts or unsafe working conditions and then Amy Lee report into your supervisor or safety and health advisor

• Watch out for Others and Remember that you are Part of a Team and not a Solo Construction or General Industrial Site One-Man Show

In addition to the commonsense smarts, please always ask the following questions before you begin to work on any of the jobs that are very dangerous on a construction or general industrial site.

• Are the conditions safe for the job or task demand?

• How safe are the methods in which the job will be completed?

• Does everyone know what to do?

• Does everyone know how to do it and do it very well?

• Does the availability for a fall seem likely and if so would you be caught in between or under anything or possibly becoming electrocuted on this job?

OSHA Training Commits Online Training Resources for US Infrastructure Issues

Does the thought of yet another Minnesota bridge failure send shivers down your spine and infuriate you all at the same time?  We thought it would and this is the exact reason why we are making more of a concertize effort into bringing you all, pertinent, relevant, US infrastructure information. As OSHA training providers, the ability to decipher fact from fiction is one of our greatest assets. This is not to say that we are so full of ourselves as to think that we cannot be lead astray just like anyone else, as we can and have multiple times, in both our personal and professional lives. It is only to say that we have become quite adept at picking out the wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Memory Lane and Failed Bridges

To get back to the topic at hand, we will kick things off today with a little stroll down uncomfortable Memory Lane. The date was August 1, 2007 and the I35 West Bridge was packed full of Minnesotans’ returning home from work in Minneapolis and surrounding communities. 13 people lost their lives in one of the most horrific bridge failures in American history. We apologize if this has brought back any bad memories of this tragedy but we will not apologize for sparking the interest back into the failed US infrastructure situation, and away from Federal debt woes.

Hearts and Minds

OSHA training is a great start to mending not only the hearts of those that lost family and friends on that fateful day, but also will be a key player in the required 10 Hour and or 30 Hour Construction Safety Training Courses, that many states now require for all public workers.

Perpetual Reinvention Key to OOST Success

With the domestic issues abounding in the home country of Online OSHA Safety Training, it makes perfect sense that this company keeps reinventing itself repeatedly. Executive Vice-President Bob Malhotra, recently spoke to a local Columbus safety training magazine and had this to say about that perpetual reinvention of his safety training company, “It takes imagination and a great deal of strength to continually up the ante in the field of OSHA safety training course offerings. As a well-respected safety and health provider, there is never a time that we will rest on our past accomplishments and they are just that, in the past!”

No Time for Pit Stop

The inability to rest in the world of safety training has seen its vicissitudes recently, and the climactic conditions of this planet only seem to complicate the scope of the OOST push for national, global safety training. The difference in this safety training company motto and employee-wide feeling stems from the fact that these are certainly tireless, never-say-never OSHA course offering educators and the time to rest may never materialize for these providers.

Online OSHA Safety Training Defines Great Safety Education

There is a calling-out of sorts, for all things safety-related in the United States presently and this has everything to do with being ready for any emergency situation. Online OSHA Safety Training is the greatest location, for OSHA safety training information, online today and will certainly only gain, in students flocking to this site, judging from the rash of environmental and manmade calamities, plaguing the nation and world today.

Online OSHA Safety Training Cares About Safety

What does OOST do and why is it that this certain location is rated as one of the top when it comes to being trained in OSHA safety courses? The answer to that question is rather simplistic in nature and it start and ends with the leaders of this safety education site, being immersed in the word “safety”. OSHA Compliance Training Speaks Out On US Infrastructure Grade in 2011

Have you noticed the state of disrepair that our infrastructure system currently finds itself? A letter-grade of “D” is not safe at all and is more akin to the third-world nations that are starting to catch up with the United States!  As globally focused and domestically based safety-training providers, we see this as the number one issue for the country today. We need to get back to being a global leader in the world of steel and bridgework and this starts off this posting on OSHA compliance training being big on the aspect of lobbying for US infrastructure financing.

Political Lobbyists Use Safety Training Education as Fodder for Infrastructure Dollars

As safety-training providers, we know all too well, what it takes to fund a major education project such as the US infrastructure programs. Every state of the Union in some form or another needs billions of dollars worth of rebuilding of the skeletal system that supports the country. State lobbyists can be seen and heard all the way from Tallahassee, Florida to the great capitols of Sacramento and Salt Lake City, pushing for every dollar of the upcoming American infrastructure bill(s). This is why it is so important that we all support and keep on speaking about the role that OSHA compliance is having and will have all the way through for the United States infrastructure retooling effort.

Online or Onsite for OSHA Safety Training Courses in 2011

A certain protocol needs to be followed, when it comes to selecting online or onsite safety training courses. Aside from determining what setting will be most advantageous to you, in general, for OSHA course participation, you need to factor in if there is going to be more than one enrollee. This is where protocol needs to be addressed and that first step, into a new world of safety education training, is with you and you're employer.
Choice One Choice Two
Once the factors of who, what, and how many, are determined, it will then be down to choice one, or choice two. For simplicity sake, we will list the two options for safety training in an easy to decipher and simple modality. In a list presented below for your safety approval!
1) Online
2) Onsite
Online Popular for Sole Students
While you contemplate the selection protocol, allow us here at Online OSHA Safety Training, to fill you in on the advantages of both particulars. Choice number one, online, is the most popular selection for individual enrollees. The benefits of taking a safety training course online stems from the facts that you can enroll, participate, and finalize, every step of the educational process, from anywhere there is an Internet connection. For most registering students, this selection is easy to make.
Onsite Great for Team Education
The teams of workers that require more of a combined effort for safety training tend to follow the onsite sector for the goal of certificate obtainment. With a team of two to a few dozen workers in need of some hands-on training, this choice is rather simplistic in nature. One of the greatest advantages for having an instructor in safety training education come to the onsite location for class participation, is that everything is so easy to learn when you have an educator literally demonstrating actions such as; proper PPE adornment, MRSA safe handling and other standards for being safe on the job.

OSHA 30 Hour Construction Course Onsite Option Great Like Libya Rebel-NATO Fighting

At Online OSHA Safety Training, it is important that we always attempt to stay current on global events as well as safety training issues as the both really do go hand in hand. With the Coalition airstrikes and the taking out of Colonel Kaddafi’s air force over the skies of Libya, we tend to think that we can let our guard down, when it applies to combat and safety but that is never the case. The problem with that is just like the problem in Libya as the rebels are fighting a seesaw battle over State held cities and Rebel controlled regions.

Safer Skies and Safer Worksites with OSHA Courses

While we may be safety training professionals at this firm, we still feel the need to speak a little about how the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Course Onsite is likened to what the United Nations approved multi-national air strike coalition, has done over the skies of that once proud Middle Eastern nation. The ability to spread safe skies over a war-torn nation such as Libya is likened to what the OSHA Safety Training Courses are doing for the workers of America. Through a broader safety net, the entire construction industry is that much safer to work in and for and this is a natural fact of being educated in any regard.

Online OSHA 2011 Focuses on Hazwoper Safety Training

There is a need in the country today for Hazwoper Safety Training. Far more than just a simple need in a regionalized area of the United States, there is an overall fully-encompassing requirement as well. The American infrastructure issue is only the proverbial tip of the iceberg as there are many other “opportunities” for a highly-trained and efficient team of workers and or volunteers, that reaches far beyond just a precautionary reality.

Disasters Happen

For the entirety of this year and well into the foreseeable future, the need for OSHA safety trained workers will be on a near-constant basis. This stems from the massive infrastructure situation in this county today all the way to the natural as well as man-made disasters that will befall the nation at some point in time.

Multitudes of Training Resources

What can be done and needs to be done, and as soon as possible, is an exodus to the realm of Hazwoper Safety Training online. While there are two identifiable courses that almost all of the students who come to these online safety training locations will enroll into and hopefully complete, the understanding that any and all of the “other” safety courses can be enrolled in and taken as well.

Hazwoper 40 Hour Course and Hazwoper 24 Hour Course

As mentioned above, the two most popular courses that will impact the United States infrastructure issue are the Hazwoper 40 Hour Course and the Hazwoper 24 Hour Course. These two courses are the cornerstones of any endeavor towards preparation for any disaster or maintenance of a regional infrastructure issue and will go a long ways for the overall safety training initiation.

Directly or Indirectly

If there is any type of disaster or calamity that impacts the United States of America, either directly or indirectly, the need for a team of Hazwoper trained workers and volunteers will be a definite.

Hazwoper Courses Available Online and Onsite

Hazwoper 40-Hour Course

Hazwoper 24-Hour Course

Hazwoper 8 Hour Annual Refresher

Hazwoper 1st Responder Awareness
